The Smith & Wesson Model 29 is a powerful, six-shot, double-action revolver manufactured by the U.S. company Smith & Wesson since 1955. Centuries later, copies of it can still be found in the wastelands.

Characteristics

It is the only weapon in the game that can be reloaded for 1 AP instead of the usual 2, and boasts an improved range of 20 hexes.

Location

• Skeeter in Gecko and Eldridge in the New Reno Arms will attach a speed loader to a .44 Magnum for $2000.
• Valerie in Vault City will do it for $800, which can be reduced to $650 with a CH or Barter check.
• Algernon in the basement of the New Reno Arms will perform this or any upgrade for free.
