The bladed gauntlet is a weapon in Fallout: New Vegas.

Contents

[edit] Characteristics

It is an Unarmed weapon composed of three sharpened blades arranged around the users fist. It is a rather strong Unarmed weapon early in the game when compared to other alternatives, like brass knuckles or boxing tape. However, it is rarer than most unarmed weapons, so it can be difficult to repair without Jury Rigging.

[edit] Variants

  • Cram Opener, a more powerful and durable unique bladed gauntlet.

[edit] Notes

  • The bladed gauntlet degrades in condition fairly quickly.
  • The bladed gauntlet had its DT bypass effect removed in a patch.

[edit] Bugs

  • PCIcon pc.png Xbox 360Icon xbox360.png This weapon has the icon of a melee weapon when you assign it to the D-pad, even though it is an unarmed weapon. This also happens with the unique Cram Opener.
  • Xbox 360Icon xbox360.png If you enter The Fort with this weapon equipped, it will appear on The Courier even your weapons have been confiscated. After leaving, weapons can be equipped with the bladed gauntlet still appearing on the user's hand, this renders some weapons' iron sights unusable. Equipping the weapon and unequipping it should fix this.
