Bullhead City is a location in Arizona.

Background[]

In 2253, President Tibbett was removed from office by a vote of no confidence following her timid response to the massacre of 38 NCR citizens at the hands of Mojave raiders near Bullhead City.[Non-game 1] Her replacement, President Wendell Peterson, ordered three battalions of NCR infantry into that area of the Mojave in retaliation.[Non-game 1]

The NCR completed the removal of tribes from the areas surrounding Bullhead City in 2270.[Non-game 1] The campaign, known as the Pacification of the Mojave, elevated then-General Aaron Kimball to the status of a national hero.[Non-game 1] As all territory east of the Colorado River is recognized as Caesar's Legion territory under his direct rule or his representatives, it's not clear who actually controls Bullhead city by 2281.[1][2]

Appearances[]

Bullhead City is mentioned only in the Fallout: New Vegas Official Game Guide.

Behind the scenes[]

Bullhead City is based on the real world location of Bullhead City, Arizona.

References[]

  1. Fallout: New Vegas loading screens: "All territory east of the Colorado River is recognized as Caesar's land, an area indisputably under the control of the Legion and agents acting on Caesar's behalf."
  2. The Courier: "And since forming the Legion, all you've done is conquer other tribes?"
Caesar: "That's right. Decades of warfare, absorbing lesser tribes, gathering power. Forging the dross into a vast, razor-sharp scythe. My Legion's expansion has never ceased. Much of the Utah and Colorado, and all of Arizona and New Mexico, are mine. We have cities of our own, but nothing compared to Vegas. Finally, my Legion will have its Rome."
