The customs office is staffed with Wallace and his assistant Skeev. Their job is to keep track of all arriving caravans, the goods they deliver, and also to oversee all transactions made.[1] Merchants who desire to enter and trade in the city are required to purchase a day pass for $500,[2] with a fee of $50 applying to any reissuances.[3]
