Chris Applehans is a developer who worked at Black Isle Studios on concept art for Van Buren.
He went on to become an illustrator, production designer, and film director. His independent artistic work appears in galleries around the United States. He is known for illustrating two children's books. He is also the writer and director of the 2021 film Wish Dragon.
