Got to get a grip on yourself, Gloria, Get a grip.

Gloria Mack is a resident of Vault 101 in Fallout 3.

Family[]

Allen Mack's wife, Gloria is a stoic person who exercises - or at least tries to exercise - a calming influence on her hard-headed husband and her three children: Wally, Steve, and Susie.[Non-game 1] She comes from the Armstrong family of Vault 101, and is the daughter of Stanley Armstrong, and the sister of Mary Kendall and Beatrice Armstrong. However, rather than technical affairs, she has readied herself for the position of a security officer if Vault 101 was ever compromised.[Non-game 2]

When James escaped the Vault, leading to a disaster within its walls, she was visiting her sister, Beatrice. The attack traumatized her, leaving her barely coherent, with the disgruntled Officer Stevie escorting her home to his father.[1] Gloria turned out to be unsuited for security duties, as the event left her completely shattered, trying to pull herself together.[2] She did not manage it, passing away shortly after the Lone Wanderer left the Vault.[Non-game 1]

Wally Mack's father is a man not to be trifled with. He is overly protective of his family ever since the death of his wife (mother of Wally Mack, Susie Mack, and Officer Mack). He's taught basic survival skills to his children but isn't overly fond of showing emotion. Should Overseer Almodovar ever become incapacitated, Allen has vowed to take over the running of Vault 101."
