Pardon my ignorance, but could this affect V13's chances of release? GeneralGoose 00:10, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

It pretty much has zero chances of release at this point, at least as a Fallout title. Ausir(talk) 00:20, October 17, 2009 (UTC)
I doubt anyone would want them to release this game all things considered. After five years, the court documents state that Interplay has only eight people on the project, not including the twenty Bulgarians. 24.118.132.250 01:04, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

Just a warning - Do not discuss this on the Bethesda forums.[]

Just as a warning, until the case is settled don't bring this up on the Official Bethesda forums, unless you like getting the Moderators attention. That extends to Fallout Online discussion Agent c 00:26, August 30, 2010 (UTC)

Pfft. We can bring this up wherever we damn well please. Bethesda's acting really oddly about cracking down on people for this; it's obvious they're going to win. Nitty Tok. 00:28, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
They banned Ausir for talking about it. I'm not gonna say a word about it on the official forums. --Kris mailbox 01:02, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
You do that. It's not like there's much reason to be on the Bethesda forums anyway. (Unless MCA and Sawyer are there, then I'm just a blubbering idiot.) Nitty Tok. 01:14, August 30, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, Sawyer's there. Not sure about MCA (not sure who that is tbh) and also I keep abreast of TES IV goings-on and TES V speculation, and there's no better place for that than the forums for the company that makes the game. --Kris mailbox 01:26, August 30, 2010 (UTC)

As its settled you can now ignore this. Agent c (talk) 19:44, December 20, 2012 (UTC)

What do you think?[]

So, I'd love for Bethesda to keep the rights because I've played the Interplay Fallouts and they, in my opinion, are SO much worse. If Interplay got the rights back, I probably wouldn't get future titles (with the exception of Fallout 4, because that will be Bethesda). Anyway, what do you think? Who do you think will win the case, in what aspects? Who do you want to win?

WildWasteland 16:59, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

I think bethesda will win (and I hope they do) but they will have to pay interplay a few million because interplay sucks like that, I think bethesda will also get full rights to all of the existing and future titles. and if not then i wont buy any of the future titles except for fallout 4. Also i think its pretty cool you posted this on my birthday, just sayin'--Chargersphinx 18:42, October 25, 2011 (UTC)

I wanted Interplay to win so we could have another true fallout games, because fallout 3, while entertaining, was NOT a fallout game, and not because of gameplay, a company that helped lay the foundation for modern gaming wouldn't go out of business, and some of the most talented people in the industry wouldn't have to lose their jobs, but alas, it wasn't to be.

Those guys all left a long time ago to found studios like Obsidian and Troika (the last gone itself). Bethesda was only able to buy Fallout because of Interplay's failures.... after the teams were all disbanded. Agent c (talk) 17:40, March 18, 2013 (UTC)

Needs update[]

change "Bethesda vs Interplay" picture[]

Since Interplay got defeated, maybe should put the word "squashed" over Interplay in the graphic, or something along that lines. Eddo36 07:51, January 12, 2012 (UTC)

Rewrite in progress[]

I'm working on a comprehensive rewrite here if you're interested in the case. Its a lot more detailed and covers a lot more on the case.
