Merge with "Bottle caps"[]

I would suggest that the article "Currency" be merged with "Bottle caps", so that searches for bottle caps get redirected to "Currency", which would include info on the other types of money as well. Do you agree? P.S.: I would merge "Pre-War Money" too. Petrolinus 20:20, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Pre-war Money is valuable currency[]

I think the section on pre-war money should have a more positive take. It is a weightless item of value 10, which means it is worth anywhere from 5 to 10 times a bottle cap, depending on your barter skill. I would recommend not saying it is of "low value" and instead say it is very valuable. I came here initially to see if it had any use in the game, and after I read that section, I thought, "Wow, I shouldn't even bother picking it up." But later I realized it's value and weightlessness and was like, "Actually, I should continue to check every cash register I see!" - Aaron 13:05, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

New Vegas[]

Are the Ncr's and legion's cash used for anything except cashing in as chips at csinos? should i just exchange them for caps or what?--Tbone11 19:36, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

The NCR and Legion money shouldn't really be looked at as money at all, rather a collectable, stackable item to be sold to merchants for caps, no different than Pre-War Money.

Alien Crystals[]

would it be too presumptive to add this to the list?

Split 76 currencies into separate article?[]

Since 76 is being "special" in all aspects, I wonder if might be more sensible to stash all currencies for 76 in a separate article. They are stored under "Collections" in the Pip-Boy in-game, too. --FindabairMini-JSPnP LogoThe benefit of the doubt is often doubtful. 10:39, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

"Currency" is the main overview page, the next level for overview would indeed be by game. In this case it would be titled "Fallout 76 currency"... For FO1, 2, 4, and T there wouldn't be enough different currencies to warrant their own game specific overview, but would FNV be enough?--Ant2242 (talk) 18:03, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
