May be a reference to dr. kleiner from half-life and half-life 2. Considering that dr. kleiner also was one of the first in a field, experimental portal technology, it sounds possible to me.--90.227.58.236 17:20, June 8, 2011 (UTC)

My Theory

It could refer to Kleiner from H-L2 but then again it might refer to Dr. Terrence Kyne from Dead Space since Kyne and Klein both rime, but then again it could refer to both or none of the above!

It maybe be a Half-Life or a Dead Space reference along with a Klein Bottle reference but he is definantly named for the Klein Bottle.

It's a coincidence - they exist, shockingly enough. What about Alex Dargon from Fallout 3? Is that a reference to Alyx Vance? They share a similar enough first name don't they? Please people, stop adding the half life reference to the article. -EllEzDee 02:38, July 22, 2011 (UTC)

No, he's obviously an old Jewish man. The name is widespread and the creator of the Klein bottle was also Jewish,just sayin.still a Klein bottle reference
