Why does it say 40mm grenades are more common than 25mm? Every shop I go to will only be selling less than 10 of them at a time, and maybe one or two incendiary. However, they sell well above 100 high explosive 25mm. For example, I was at the Gun Runners. They were selling 192 high explosive 25mm grenades, but no 40mm. Is this just a bug for me?--~~~~idkrofl

Same for me, they sell 192 25mm high explosive :P and can someone confirm that the only repair is Grenade machinegun? even with Jury Rigging? --Yes im anon. xD

"Its higher damage comes at the cost of using 40mm Grenades, which is less common and more expensive than 25mm grenades." It doesn't say they're more common. Although, I accidently read it that way the first time, too. Either we're all dyslexic, or that sentence needs to be worded differently. Science-Doer 18:14, November 15, 2010 (UTC)

There's a grammar error that may be throwing you off -- incorrect subject-verb agreement -- the referent of "which" is "grenades," which is plural, so you need a plural "are" as the following verb instead of a singular "is." Let's fix it in the text on the main page and see what happens. 174.6.51.17 10:22, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

silly CND wear[]

i used this on the final battle of the game just for funs since you have to take on waves of enemies repeatedly.

it was broken before the battle finished. the thing wears down stupidly fast.

it shouldn't, with 200 hp, it's double of most other high end weapons Dvd777

You might've damaged it by shooting targets that were too close. The blast damage might've hit the weapon, is what I'm saying.
Pack some Weapon Repair Kits next time. It's silly that you can do running repairs in the middle of a battle, but since you can, why not take advantage of it? 174.6.51.17 12:39, February 6, 2011 (UTC)

Weird glitch[]

So i finally go Mercy after the hell that was Dead Wind Cavern, and as my reward the thing wont fire automatically. It only fires with the a tape of the mouse, when held down it does the animation but not grenades come out. But whats even more weird is it doesn't use any ammo when i fire it, i guess thats a good thing but i would rather it just be normal. Its one of the weirder glitches i have found in this game, anyone else get this problem? I'm ganna go tinker with the console a bit and see what i can find.--Humanperson 21:44, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

Text on screen appears to be a shell script fragment.[]

If anyone is interested, the stuff on the screen appears to be a few lines of shell (bash?) code.

Youtube Poop[]

I can just imagine the King getting his hands on this, screw the Dinner Blaster, PLEASE 'AVE MERCY! Though the King may kill Bowser and take over the Mushroom Kingdom AND AoSTH Mobius with Robotnik (also AoSTH) as his right hand man and Link as his right hand BOI. --TJbrena 15:55, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

Correct Name[]

This weapon has the correct name, just like Vengeance had in FO3! My god, with two ranks in Demolition Expert, Splash Damage and Hit the Deck, this thing tears apart anything in the way. And I mean anything at all. Grenade Machineguns are one of the best weapons for Deathclaws, since they cripple their legs very fast. ;)

Just don't let larger groups get close to you, because it has the same problem of CZ-57 Avenger: the magazine is small, so you won't be able to fire too much. The upgraded normal Grenade Machinegun is better for cleaning Quarry Junction, for example.

this is a big fat lie all the way...when your a pure Explosive character like mine, Mercy does 202 damage a pop, you WONT NEED any more then 4-7 shots from it to kill anything in the Mohave, obvious Troll is obvious :/ --68.104.60.228 01:38, July 28, 2011 (UTC)Zerginfestor

For those asking were to buy the 40mm grenade, the vendor that sells them in packs is the one last cited in the various articles about vendors: that ex-NCR sargent at 188 outpost. She always sells at least 10/12 40mm grenades. If you use the exploit on merchants, you will be able to have 1000 grenades very fast. Brfritos 22:06, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

Whoa! This thing gets legionaries to fly higher than the towers at hoover dam!

>Correct Name Hmm, on that note, isn't this an obvious reference to Vengeance from Fallout 3? The nature of the weapons, the place you find them, it all matches up. Mercy is the opposite of vengeance, but they both seem to achieve the same results, heh.71.234.106.119 00:01, August 1, 2011 (UTC)
