Codes Do Not Work[]

It has come to my attention that the Console Command Base IDs for the Pencil do not function properly. The one listed on the Pencil article does not register with the Console, instead giving an error readout, stating that the Base ID is not recognized. The one listed on the list of all Fallout 3 miscellaneous items instead has one of the two Base IDs for the Butter knife. I both request and suggest that this be corrected in a timely manner. I would do so myself, but I do not know the correct Base ID. Thank you for your time.

Looked up the pencil in GECK and corrected the Base ID. Nice catch Cyberweasel89.--Ellios09 04:16, November 23, 2009 (UTC)

Quick note[]

they cant be used as rock-it launcher ammo. I tried but they didn't appear on the ammo list. I had like 53 pencils i wanted to equip but they didn't show up

Ammo Discrepancy[]

The article says pencils can be used as ammo for the Rock-It Launcher, but later on it says they can't. I find the latter to be true, so I'm going to correct the article to reflect the fact that pencils are not RIL ammo. Halo addict 15:40, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

Launching Money?[]

I never thought to use Pre-war Money in the Rocket Launcher. I would not want to lose them. But, wouldn't it be fun if doing so would cause a group of enemies scrambling to pick up the scattered bills? Maybe even get into a fight among themselves over it? Of course this doesn't happen -- but it would be funny if it did.

Pens[]

A super advanced society with nuclear powered cars, but the pen was just too complex an invention for them.

Dixon Ticonderoga Woodcase Pre-Sharpened Pencils, #2 Lead[]

It's a Dixon brand Ticonderoga #2 Pencil. The green ferrule with yellow paint stripes gives it away. As of 2012, you can get a pack of 12 from Wal*Mart for $3.97 plus tax.....pre-War money, of course.
