RED WANT TO GO TO BIGTOWN WHIT OUT THE PLAYER[]

Red tells me that she will go alone to Bigtown if I am gone to long. Is that true? I have never seen that she have left me, but I am not the one that like to take risks. Please tell me if you find it out.

No it is not true.. I have tried to have her as a follower for weeks now and she doesn t leave!!

Enslaving Red[]

After you ship Red off to Paradise Falls, will she return to Big Town if you free the slaves and kill all the slavers there?

you can have red return to big town by following these steps: 1. "player.moveto 25252" in console to teleport you to the slaver pen where you can remove her colar. 2. remove the colar 3. wait for her to walk out the door into the outside slaver pen, it should still be locked shut. 4. get the hell out of paradise falls ASAP and fast travel to big town. 5. wait or sleep for 24 hours in big town. 6. "player.moveto 25252" again to take you to red who should now be somewhere in bigtown. might have to do it twice as she has a habit of spawning in a wall or doorway until the player enters the same cell she is in. she wont talk to you, and instead will babble about going to the temple of the union, i dont know if she ever does leave to find it, but you can return her to normal by doing optional step 7. 7. (optional) open the console, click on Red, then type "removefromallfactions" it will let her go back to selling services and what not. NO GUARENTEE THAT IT DOESNT SCREW WITH HER LOYALTEES THOUGH, as im not sure if there is a "Big Town" faction.70.160.126.217 09:14, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

From what I can tell, when you save Red after enslaving her, you won't be able to properly converse with her. All she'll say is "You saved me from those bastards, I'll never forget it." or something along those lines. Does anybody know if doing the prid, kill, resurrect thing work in restoring her back to normal?

Tips for Enslaving[]

It is recommended you do not enslave her as part of the Strictly Business quest before completing the Big Trouble in Big Town quest. When you defend Big Town from a Super Mutant invasion, talk to her and she will thank you. She will immediately go into a house to the right, and will be by herself. Go into stealth mode and 'mez' her. Put the slave collar on her and she will run off. Depending on your luck, the citizens of Big Town may or may not turn hostile to you. If you gave them a sentry bot, he will always turn hostile. If you wish to keep Big Town alive, it is recommended you make your follower wait outside, perhaps at Moonbeam Outdoor Cinema.

  • If you kill the slavers and free Red from her cell after she is enslaved at Paradise Falls she will return to Big Town, however you will not be able to communicate with her. This can be fixed by using the command "RemoveFromFaction 2f561" on Red.
  • If enslaved, Red will sometimes glitch invisibly into her house and remain there while you collect the reward. To have the option to free her after wards, enter through the front door and exit through the rear. She will flee, running in front of you. Catch up to her and remove the collar. If she is too fast, kill her via console (take the medical supply key if you want) and resurrect her while you are in front so she cannot escape.--Gothemasticator 07:48, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Companionship[]

I have something which I've been trying to find the answer to for a while now, alas, I've not been successfull. What I want to do is give the dart gun to Red, that part's easy. However, I was wondering if giving her clothing items to improve her luck, such as Three Dog's headwear and the Lucky Shades would improve her effectiveness with this weapon. To anyone who can help, thank you. StarfishCostume 12:59, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

Bugs[]

Has anyone else encountered this bug? When I ask for treatment, the dialogue box closes, and then she begins to walk. She walks clear through me and keeps going in a straight line until after the screen fades and comes back. Then, the dialogue box doesn't reappear. However, when I next talk to her, she says whatever she would normally say following a treatment ("Feel better? You should. That was the good stuff," etc.) Doesn't seem to be harmful, but it's another annoying one.—Neo(T) 03:09, May 3, 2010 (UTC)

Just for clarification, this only happens to me when she's in her clinic. It doesn't happen outside.72.184.229.93 20:59, May 4, 2010 (UTC) (Neo)

Contradicting dialogue[]

Red turns out to have some contradicting dialogue. She says that unlike super mutants, raiders and slavers can be bargained with if you have something they want. This contradicts with Three Dog saying that "Raiders can't be bargained OR reasoned with". someone should add this in a note section because I don't know how to add sections.

Not really an inconsistency. Three Dog is an awkward shut-in who screams into the microphone like the idiot he is; Red is a person who actually lives out there. Personal_Sig_Image.gif Tagaziel (call!) 06:05, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

Red dies after enslavement?[]

Is it normal for Red to die after enslaving her for the Strictly Bussiness quest? She was alive when I checked before with other 3 slaves but when I checked later, I found her dead in between those green mushrooms in the slave house. Yet other slaves were alive. The area is not radioactive so what killed her?
