FO3 Robobrain Health

They even sound similar to the Portal turret. It has to be a reference to Portal. It even uses the same tonal changes as the turrents in Portal. TestECull 10:30, April 16, 2010 (UTC)

Outcast

Whats with the outcast robobrains? Is there a purpose for them?

Don't know who was asking the above (some IP address), but could you please elaborate? I've seen them patrol or stand guard at the National Guard HQ with Outcast soldiers; their purpose is to support Outcast soldiers, what else would it be?

Playing with the console I found an "Outcast Robobrain" (0006c5de) and put it in my Megaton house. I had to console "kill" it to keep it from vamoosing. I liked the looks of it so I have it standing in a corner. Tour86rocker 10:29, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

I changed the telepathy thing because it works just like the mesmetron. it send waves to the brain and instead of the mesmetron (which is weaker, so it disorientates) it cripples your head. And remember the mesmetron can also blow a head up?RG (xbox) 17:44, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Ammo Glitch

The Robobrain's in the Capital Wasteland use Laser Rifle-type arms, but why is there no MF cells on their bodies when dead? * AreYouGoingToEatThatNuke?

Cyborg

I still say that the living brain as the "processor" of the Robobrain qualifies it as a cyborg. Though I think I had the definition a bit off, 'cause a robot with a completely organic skin (in the manner of the Terminator cyborgs) also qualifies even though the brain is robotic. To contrast, an android is completely synthetic but with some parts mimicking organic function (Harkness and Star Trek's Data are two examples). --Kris 21:41, September 21, 2010 (UTC)

Masterbrain is a robobrain. The terms are interchangeable.

And I really wouldn't call them 'live' brains; they're kept intact by bio med gel, and brainwashed by old CODE technology. Is it still a cyborg if the brain is both optional and brain dead? Nitty ^Tok. 21:53, September 21, 2010 (UTC)

Masterbrain is a special case. It's not a standard Robobrain. And without the periodic memory wipes, the Robobrains start to act erratically, as evidenced by the ones in the Capital Wasteland. --Kris 21:59, September 21, 2010 (UTC)

I still wouldn't call them cyborgs; the brains can be swapped out on West Coast models for sure, and maybe on East Coast models. And according to the universe's own definition of cyborgs, they're humans with robot parts, not robots with human parts. Nitty ^Tok. 22:03, September 21, 2010 (UTC)

It can be both. besides, the brain is human( maybe ) a cyborg can be a human with alot of robot parts or alittle bit of robot parts.

where are you?

I cant find any Robobrains in the capital wasteland apart from H&H tools. ive tried locations that are said to have 1 (eg sacrificial chamber) and no robobrain. can anyone help cause i think theyre cool
