Terminal Hack Discount Correction[]
The Statements regarding the price changes may be incorrect. Selecting both the Holiday and VIP discounts provided the same benefit as choosing only the VIP during my game. It is also worth noting that Shakes may not sell an item for less than its base value or buy an item from the player for greater than its base value. At the time my Barter was at 70 and 80(from gear) points. 70 points of barter with the Holiday Discount yielded a greater pricing bonus than 80 points of barter with no discount at all. So its pretty clear that the Holiday discount at least, isn't simply a 10 point barter bump. Unfortunately, my barter score was too high to gauge how the VIP discount is applied as it already provided a 1 to 1 return.69.204.11.122 21:58, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
but shaakes is the man, man! Seriously now, nice catch. I'm pretty sure that one point of Barter isn't equivelent to one percent at a store. If it was, the 15 average you start with wouldn't result in a 50% difference. Nitty 22:03, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

If it was 1 barter = one % off then a barter of 100 would = 100% off making every thing free, so there would be no use fopr caps.
