Place back into display?[]

WHY? why would someone do that? what where they thinking? and how is it that you can do it only on PC? just drag it and place it, is not hard, remove that!.--Nuke-a-Punch 19:40, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

I have removed the information, but I find it strange that on the pc version there is an menu option to place the gun back, and the xbox360 version there isn't.Sjokolata 19:53, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

Strategy?[]

I was just wondering if anyone would mind me adding a little strategy for Vance's SMG. If you use it with 9mm +P rounds instead of regular, you get a pretty devastating attack with it. Quest: "Vance's Gun"[]

When I talked to Primm Slim I actually got a real quest in my list called Vance's Gun. I can't find a wiki page for the quest unless it's supposed to be A Pair of Dead Desperados part 1 and 2. Anyone else can confirm this? PC version.

The Grunt perk[]

This weapon becames devastated with the Grunt perk, almost putting Assault Carbine in a pocket and owning the Service Rifle by miles (even after patch 1.3). The only drawback is the lack of good AP ammo, being the reason that Assault Carbine is still viable. A very good weapon until middle game or against unarmored opponents at any level. In the notes it mentions this weapon not being of Bonnie and Clydes period, but that's not really worth mentioning, seeing as how nobody has CONFIRMED that it is a grease gun it should be deleted. 166.205.9.90 07:12, July 5, 2011 (UTC)

DMG compared to modded 9mm SMG?[]

Anyone know how this is dmg wise compared to a modded 9mm SMG? I think light bolt is the only dps increasing mod for the standard SMG. I'm looking for something to use my 9mm bullets with, I have plenty, and was going to get Vance's gun I suppose as there aren't many decent weapons using 9mm, just "Maria" and this one as far as I know. I think having a comparison of the 9mm modded dps mentioned in the notes section would be useful like it is on the K9000 Cyberdog page. On the Cyberdog page it says: When fully upgraded, the K9000 cyberdog gun will have a higher DPS than its unique variant, FIDO. That helped me in deciding to keep the K9000 and buy the mods vs going with a FIDO. --Ign0tus 07:20, March 9, 2012 (UTC)

Vance's SMG has a higher DAM and DPS even after modding the 9mm SMG, however it does break sooner. User:Great_MaraMessage 07:41, March 9, 2012 (UTC)

Help with Vance's gun?[]

Alright so i just got Vance's gun and while I'm looking over the stats of the modded one and Vance's i noticed that the DPS on the modded version is actually better than Vance's by about 40 but the actual damage is worse by 3.... article says Vance's should be better but my stats say otherwise... P.s I have the grunt perk so maybe this is the issue? also this is on 360

      Running into the same thing. Both weapons at 100% condition; Vance's - 24Dam, 318DPS. Fully modified 9mm -20Dam, 374DPS. I have the Grunt perk as well and am also playing on my Xbox One (360BC)

Edit: I also have 100 Guns, Lord Death(3) and Thought You Died. Its possible with those perks the dps of the 9mm surpasses Vance's because of the faster fire rate.
