Why V13 is classyfied as Town or other friendly place and V15 as a dungeon? Necropolis, Military Base and Cathedral had surface levels also. Should I correct it?--dotz 08:49, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

V13 is a friendly location because NOTHING THERE WILL KILL YOU OUTSIDE OF THE CAVE. Necropolis is considered a dungeon and a friendly location because the ghouls will attack and you can talk to the nice ghouls and Set. THe Military base is considered a dungeon because everybody there will flip out and attack you as one of the mutants sees you, regardless of it being on the surface or first floor. The Cathedral is considered a dungeon because there are mutants and crazy cultists crawling everywhere, and they'll all flip out attack if you either enter the Vault the wrong way do anything wrong, or deliberately piss them off. Hell, the final boss is there! I know you can kill him non-violently, but still. Darkman 4 15:07, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Rethink it. I can be poor with my English, but as far as I fremember dungeon is not an exact antonime for friendly location. Question of friendliness or hostility is quite subjective issue. May be we should be more objective and do not implement strange classifications into the templates? BTW have you pissed Overseer or V 13 security officer. The real overboss and bastard in Fallout was Overseer with his two miniguns and endless DR.--dotz 08:50, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

At least part of this work is pointless. Correct pattern of locations template can be found here.--dotz 18:04, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

I changed the format...in fact I actually just started from scratch. Of course, you can just undo it if you don't like it, the original format was just so flawed. --voluntas 05:51, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Please explain vB locations template flaws (I think it can be rather its content, eg. Podunk reference, then its shape). Anyway location template should be the same for all games. I do not care if it is your pattern or older one (of course if you want to force your pattern you should reedit VB template also).--dotz 08:27, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Relax, I just thought it might be a bit cleaner, but I changed it to align with the Template:Navbox Van Buren pattern, even though it's not specifically a locations template. I like it, pretty thin though. I think maybe the title should change to Fallout 1 and we could add an Organizations tag, and an Important Characters tag along with Places. --voluntas 16:00, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Good idea.--dotz 17:20, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
