Theo is a recently-deceased probationary member of Reilly's Rangers in 2277.
Background[]
Although Reilly regarded the recently recruited Theo as "green" and viewed him as an insufficient replacement for the recently deceased members Dallas and Kira, she hoped that he would grow with experience.[1] Theo served as the mercenary company's quartermaster, helping maintain the equipment while also carrying extra ammunition on missions.[Non-game 1] As Theo was itching to participate in one of the company's mapping trips into the downtown ruins,[2] the entire group made an excursion to Vernon Square, where they were ambushed and pursued by a large army of super mutants, forcing them to take shelter in Our Lady of Hope Hospital before crossing over an impromptu bridge into the Statesman Hotel. While moving up through the hotel's stairwells, Theo was hit by a frag grenade and killed, leaving the rest of the Rangers to keep moving forward without the ammunition he was carrying.[3][4] Reilly feels considerable guilt about what happened to him, blaming herself for the tactical decisions that led to his death.[5]

Effects of player's actions[]
- Theo's corpse can be found in a stairwell in the Statesman Hotel. His ammunition box can be looted (during the quest) if Reilly gives the player character the code (Reilly9090). Inside are 200 5mm rounds, 100 5.56mm rounds, 100 10mm rounds, and 4 frag grenades. If the ammunition is taken from the cache, they can either keep it or share it with the other members of Reilly's Rangers on the roof of the Statesman Hotel.

The ammunition box code can also be Reilly0247.- Theo does not have Ranger battle armor like the other members of Reilly's Rangers do; he wears a mercenary outfit instead.
