Toxic dump site is a location in the Mojave Wasteland. It is located just east of Novac and north of Clark Field.

Layout[edit | edit source]

This location consists of a partially buried shipping container, with radioactive barrels spilling out of the back of it. The container sits on the edge of a small cliff and has no apparent loot inside or around it. This location is lightly irradiated.

A wastelander with random loot has been found here, sometimes dead or wounded. If spoken to, he just tells the player to go away with no dialogue options, and may run away. Killing the wastelander does not incur a karma or reputation penalty.

Notable loot[edit | edit source]

  • Two recruit legionaries, dead or alive, with random legion loot can be found just to the south of the site near a blown up car sitting in the 3-way intersection. One is often carrying cave fungus.

Appearances[edit | edit source]

Toxic dump site appears in Fallout: New Vegas.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • A look at the G.E.C.K. files reveals that the wastelander here is intended to spawn as a corpse, but because he is set as a respawning character, he will respawn alive 3 game days after the map cell is first loaded, typically upon first visiting Novac. He has 0 health, and dies instantly upon taking any form of damage.
