I do not understand; the "Other Background Information" section of the Courier page could all be considered speculation. Also, like all mentions in this section, linking the word "Mother" with "Regret" is entirely up to the player and is not fully explained at any point in the game. Comptetion suggestion

Hi Leon,

I and Sig were talking, we have an idea for a contest that might fit in the SNM. Basically, its a scavenger hunt... Find as many pages as you can within the main article space (and perhaps within certain criteria) that Jspoel has never edited.

Just to make it harder/reduce the number of possibilities we were thinking it could be limited to perhaps pages above a certain size (1,000kb?) or "no Jspoel, Ausir or Porter".

Person who has the most pages (or most unique pages) wins.

SNM Challenges

They're good fun Garoux! They also keep my Fallout withdrawal symptoms at bay...

I kid to a certain degree, but I don't have a good patron idea in mind so that's a no for that for now, as for the challenges, I'll have to start thinking about them. I didn't know you took suggestions!

I did have a funny question that I'd like to hear peoples' answers to though,

"What do you think the other three decoy items House called for in the Mojave Express orders?"

I think the three we know are: the platinum chip, two fuzzy dice, and a chess piece.

I can't recall anymore, but I was just wondering if this could be a funny question somewhere.

Assault rifle

Just in case the gentleman who misunderstood my comment about game weapons being named "exactly" as the real world weapon (rather than being named similarly to it) comes to discuss the issue with you, I thought I'd also let you know that his information is not correct. The Rheinmetall (later Heckler & Koch) Automatisches Gewehr G3 was never chambered in 7.92x33 Kurz. It's predecessors, the Sturmgewehr 45(M), and the CETME rifle (in it's earliest stages) was, but the G3 was always chambered (first for trials with the Bundesgrenzschutz, the West German Border Guards, and later for the Bundeswehr) in NATO 7.62x51mm. Should for some reason this note be added to the page (I don't believe we'll ever find anything more than the GECK name to support this), it should at least have the correct information added. Thank you for your reply, I now understand why you banned me. Thank you for your consideration and taking the time to explain it to me. I am becoming more familiar with the G.E.C.K., but to be truthful I do not have the first idea of how to find it in there or how to use it.

The only way I can explain how to find it would be to tell you how I did it. I am in a relatively new (PC) game in FO3 with all the DLC installed. I did a player.moveto command in the console to find Lazlo Radford. So I entered this exactly.

Holding Pen for Freeform Encounters

Upon entering the command, it immediatly started the loading screen, and it spawned me directly behind him. You can also see that it showed the Vault 101 emergency signal found. I am guessing that the reason it sent me here was because Lazlo had not been activated through the random encounter on the regular map. I wandered around the map for a few minutes and immediately started combing the wiki to find out what this place is. I found several references. One in the "Notes" section a wiki post for the Deathclaw Gauntlet Schematics, another in the fallout Q&A. The Q&A was empty of any answers (or a question for that matter), and finally just a word reference of "freeform" in a post by "Croquignol 15:18, January 8, 2010 (UTC)". The last was outside the wiki on Xbox wiki. I don't know if it's ok to link to outside websites so I won't. All said, I was unable to find a definitive explanation or a valid wiki page to reference to find out what it was.

Take a look at the behind the scenes of this page for example, the bullet point was added by a bc. There are plenty of other examples if you want. Edit to "Red Glare"

I am the one who was changing the description here http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Red_Glare#Background Where you said I was making it into "speculation"... How is this? Do you not think it ridiculous that the other person has the apparent 'right' to say that the reason it is called "Red Glare" is because of the red glare the weapon emits? That is pure subjectivity. My explanation is much more objective, because it is quite obvious this would be the only reason for it to be named such.

Theirs' A bright red light emits from the weapon when firing, giving it its name.

And my explanation: The name of the weapon may come from the United States Anthem lyrics, "And the rocket's red glare..." due the patriotic nature of Fallout, and the literal red glare upon firing the rocket being symbolic.

His is quite obviously more subjective than mine. If one cannot give a true explanation, than one must be speculative, and he was saying that his reason is fact while I was saying what the reason may possibly be.

Okay... 1) If you added the part about the national anthem to the Background section then you should have read the whole page first. Since it was already in the Behind the Scenes section. No relevance

Ok, I see what you did there. the fact that there even is an argument to be made says otherwise. The only harassment going on is you deleting pages due to personal bias. All I want is a good reason, which I have not yet been provided with. I will continue my debate regardless of the consequences. In the words of Orwell, even if everyone else on the planet thinks I am crazy, as long as I know I am right, I am not crazy. Paraphrasing a bit there but the point is the same. Hey Leon. I recall you are a fan of eradicating sock puppets. Well this guy has just admitted in a recent blog to having sock-puppet accounts. Not sure which ones they are, perhaps you could dig around a bit? The situation is heating up a bit, so I'll let you take it from here, I think you'd work better under these situations.
