== Fallout Bible ==

The Fallout Bible is considered canon here as long as it doesn't contradict in-game sources. As for this line, I don't see a contradiction there. Various members of the pre-War conspiracy known as the Enclave retreated to various sites around the world, but it doesn't mean they were in any actual contact with the post-war organization of that name that was descended from said conspiracy. In-game evidence suggests they weren't, but it doesn't make the pre-war line false. [[User:Ausir|Ausir]][[User talk:Ausir|(talk)]] 19:18, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

:Alright, I changed the article to say "Come 2077, with total nuclear war rapidly arriving at America's doorstep, the President of the United States and a number of other members of the conspiracy left their posts to take refuge on the Poseidon oil rig." and "Some members of the Enclave retreated to remote locations in other parts of the world, but when the bombs hit, they lost contact with the main group." [[User:Ausir|Ausir]][[User talk:Ausir|(talk)]] 19:32, March 27, 2011 (UTC)

== Fallout Tactics ==

Sorry for not getting back to you on this earlier. Yeah, some of the inconsistencies are too speculative and should probably be removed. [[User:Ausir|Ausir]][[User talk:Ausir|(talk)]] <staff/> 02:22, July 12, 2011 (UTC)

:Hello my friend ;)

:I saw your conversation with Ausir and since I'm played all Fallout games (even FOBOS) and I'm a great fan of Fallout, I always try to find a good explanation for inconsistencies (it's sad but Fallout Tactics is the Fallout game with the most inconsistencies in all Fallout, more than FOBOS).

:Thanks to have remove some well, bad, speculative inconsistencies of the Fallout Tactics page. Also, I have a good explanation for Vault 0 I try to find myself (sorry if it's not well writted, I'm French and not a specialist of English grammar) based on my knowledge of the Fallout universe and my proper reflection:

*Vault 0 was a part of the Vault experiment. In fact, its real purpose was not to monitors other vaults (just a secondary function), but for create a civilization that the Enclave can control it easily later. What it's the goal of the Enclave? The goal of the Enclave is to eradicate all inhabitants of the post-War USA, all mutants as they call them, for re-built america only with Enclave member, "pure-human" as they said.

*So Vault 0 was equipped with the Calculator, which was supposed to function in collaboration with some brains of Vault 0 dwellers, pre-War geniuses to design and nurture an ideal human society in a post-War U.S. by educating the survivors and residents, and a powerful army of robot, almost insensible to normal attack. But it is a hidden face, trying to create an unique society without raiders, factions etc. where everyone would be united and obey the calculator, the Enclave could more easily put its plan ([[FEV Curling-13]]) into execution without the people be aware, protected in their "false" cocoons. The Enclave so could easily kill everyone without anyone knowing, unleash the FEV on USA and using the robot army at the same moment (changing them completely, being no more passive and guardian of the new false civilization but now a slayer army) to kill everyone.

*All that was perfect, sometime before 2241 was perfect for this project. But one problem completely destroyed their hope, the Calculator became corrupted and instead of releasing the robots to make the Wasteland safe for humanity, the Vault 0 robots began to exterminate all life, completing the so called "pacification protocol". As for the unfortunate geniuses plugged in, most of them suffered severe brain damage, dementia, and mental retardation from a combination of age and prolonged radiation exposure (not mutation).

*Also, a probable proof that the Enclave was interested in Vault 0 it's that they have a hidden outpost in Chicago (said in FNV), may be for controlled Vault 0 at distance and having a close area to saw and execute their plan, and for act quickly after the death of almost all USA post-War inhabitants.

:Tell me what you think =) (and sorry for broken English). [[User:Itachou|Itachou]] [[User talk:Itachou|[~talk~]]] 22:27, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Well, for me the Fallout canon is to be taken lightly, there is a period where a game was canon and the other not (Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel are good exemples).

Fallout canon for me includes only the released video games and the Fallout publications ("Fallout Bible", all "Official game guide", "All roads" and "One Man, and a Crate of Puppets"), and some information of factions and places of Van Buren which doesn't contradict the elements already in place, that's all, the rest don't really exist in the Fallout universe. So don't take too much account of what people say about it.

No in fact Capital Wasteland BOS have old pre-War T-45d power armors, not a new post-War power armor like Midwestern BOS. FOBOS have experimental deathclaws so yes, hairy deathclaws could be another pre-War experiments.

For the FOT Fuel, the Master in Fallout have steam-powered trucks (not seen in-game by said) so another similar fuel can be possible.

It's impossible. Vault experiments is a part of the Enclave, and if the Enclave have no interest of Vault 0, Vault 0 is not part of the vault experiments and so the inconsistency is more bigger. No I don't talk about Vault 0 dwellers but about the goal of Vault 0, to create a false civilization (the primary goal of Vault 0 before the Calculator became corrupted) that after the Enclave could more easily put its plan ([[FEV Curling-13]]) into execution without the people be aware. You don't have read me I think ;).

Also, Chicago is not far away of Vault 0, even with no vertibirds. [[User:Itachou|Itachou]] [[User talk:Itachou|[~talk~]]] 23:00, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

:All vaults was controlled by the Enclave since it's the Enclave that send the signal for open control vaults. Vault-Tec have created their unique Secret Vault for them, so I think the Enclave took control of all vaults after the Great War.

:Since it's the only power armor that never appeared in any Fallout pre-War adds, it can't be a pre-War model. Its design also more look like a post-War power armor like those of the Enclave (APA, APA MkII, Hellfire). [[User:Itachou|Itachou]] [[User talk:Itachou|[~talk~]]] 23:30, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Yes =). In fact it's like a thorn in the foot. Also, Fallout Tactics was during 2197 and the Enclave and Navarro was destroyed in 2242, so it's impossible since in 2197 they have already their unique power armor.

The best explanation that they find the Chicago Enclave Outpost (deserted for some reasons) with some schema of prototype of Enclave power armor (their airship crashed around Chicago) that after created them.

Haha anyway we are never sure without a dev. I go sleep, good nights my friend and see you around ;)! [[User:Itachou|Itachou]] [[User talk:Itachou|[~talk~]]] 23:44, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

First off, when I need to do big page revisions, I do them in one of my sandboxes (yes, you're allowed more than 1). That way you can check for mistakes easier than user a word processor. Just copy the whole page over to a sandbox, edit it until you get it right and then copy the whole thing back.

Secondly, I know absolutely nothing about FOT. Frankly, if I had a question about Tactics, I'd probably ask you. There's some things they could show you, like how to make that quote at the page top using the {{Tl|Quotation}} template.

:I checked the page history, and the article talk page (there is none) and as far as I can tell, the original editor made the page with that title (back in 2009). Hey Styles,

Was wondering if as a tactics fan you might be interested in clearing up an old project, the [[Fallout_Wiki:Fallout_Tactics_characters_project|Tactics Character project]]. Compared to the other tactics project it looks a lot closer to being done. I can help with the wiki side of stuff, but as my copy of Tactics is in a box somewhere on the other side of the planet I wouldnt be able to do much in game content.

The project is basically going over the character articles, making sure all of the "manditory" sections are present, and if they're not putting them in.

Lemmie know if thats of interest to you. [[User:Agent c|Agent c]] ([[User talk:Agent c|talk]]) 15:11, December 6, 2012 (UTC)

==Anna Guarana==

I'm getting a bit nervous when I see character pages from old games being renamed. I reverted Anna of Junction City again to Anna Guarana. Master Mold, a former admin, created that page and I'm pretty he sure he was well informed. And even if it was to be renamed it would become Anna (Fallout Tactics). Anna of Junction '''C'''ity is not a proper name. Are you really sure that last name isn't good? He must have gotten that last name from somewhere if you ask me. Which category do you have in mind? [[:Category:Fallout Tactics locations]]? Or [[:Category:Fallout Tactics characters]]? I added the ending video for Tactics ending. Tables are a headache at best. I've created a table for you, and left some comments you'll only see in the editor, hopefully that will explain it enough to get you started. [[User:Agent c|Agent c]] ([[User talk:Agent c|talk]]) 21:01, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

:Looks like the Table end code <nowiki>|}</nowiki> fell off. You need to just double check that its at the bottom or it does silly things... [[User:Agent c|Agent c]] ([[User talk:Agent c|talk]]) 21:30, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

==Caldriss==

Noticed your comment on the Caldriss page. Master Mold, a former admin (and Tactics connaisseur I believe) added that section. I tracked it down in the page its history. see [http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Caldriss_Hemlock?diff=196317&oldid=193795 here]. You can try to get in contact with him on No Mutants Allowed, he may still be active there. Or try it on our wiki, but I haven't seen him in ages. The background can stay as it is, I believe he did his research. Although it would be nice to have a source reference. ==Hey==

Yo, thanks for finding those graffiti images, you've been a real help. Can you do me a favour and add "|100x100px" after the file name when you post them in a table? This stops them from getting too big, for example;<br>

<nowiki>[[File:Example.jpg|100x100px]]</nowiki><br>

Thanks,<br>

if you need any thing/have questions then pop by my talkpage<br>

==Edit==

I trust you, but the note itself does not have much notability. That is, it does not seem to be in the article as a note, perhaps a quote. [[User:Energy X|<span style="color:red">E</span><span style="color:orange">n</span><span style="color:yellow">e</span><span style="color:green">r</span><span style="color:blue">g</span><span style="color:purple">y</span> <span style="color:gray">X</span>]] [[File:Signature0.jpg|25px|link=User talk:Energy X]] 19:56, December 10, 2012 (UTC)

About the other question, I think you meant images - they are the only ones that their size can be changed. [[User:Energy X|<span style="color:red">E</span><span style="color:orange">n</span><span style="color:yellow">e</span><span style="color:green">r</span><span style="color:blue">g</span><span style="color:purple">y</span> <span style="color:gray">X</span>]] [[File:Signature0.jpg|25px|link=User talk:Energy X]] 19:57, December 10, 2012 (UTC)

You can add those special encounters. I wonder why after all this time we didn't have them yet. [[user:Jspoelstra|Jspoel]] [[file:Speech Jspoel.png|10px|link=User talk:Jspoelstra]] 14:24, December 16, 2012 (UTC)

==Tactics character images==

Great those Tactics character images, but can you cut them ratio 3 to 4 (width 3 and height 4)? That is also the ratio for all the portraits. It's for uniformity. [[user:Jspoelstra|Jspoel]] [[file:Speech Jspoel.png|10px|link=User talk:Jspoelstra]] 00:34, December 19, 2012 (UTC)

: Yes, it forces the image 75pixels in height, no matter how large it is. 75px (not xp) is fairly small as you can see. But it is needed, Tactics didn't have the fancy graphics we have now. [[user:Jspoelstra|Jspoel]] [[file:Speech Jspoel.png|10px|link=User talk:Jspoelstra]] 00:44, December 19, 2012 (UTC)

:: Try downloading free image-program GIMP for a better image alteration. That program should be able to set a ratio. Otherwise take a Tactics portrait example and use that for comparison. And the images are a bit dark. Would be nice to have em a little lighter. [[user:Jspoelstra|Jspoel]] [[file:Speech Jspoel.png|10px|link=User talk:Jspoelstra]] 00:54, December 19, 2012 (UTC)

Styles, you and I are going to be friends! That last comment put a large smile on face. My kind of humor. But ok, I understand the problem with GIMP. It may be a bit complicated if you've never worked with it. Ok, stick to Paint, try to get the size about right and I may lighten the image a bit. And you should use '''px''' for image size, not '''xp'''. Two whole different things right? 4 to 3 I mean height versus weight ratio. For example 100 pixels in height then the width should be 75px. Hey, Styles, you've been around the wiki a ton, and I'm happy to say that I don't think I've reverted a single one of your edits. You're good, and I appreciate the work you do around here. == Botwork. ==

Hi! Just to let you know, we have bots to do something like [http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/McCarthy?curid=262180&diff=1807708&oldid=1798314&rcid=1900783 this]. Just ping me or [[User:Tocinoman|Tocinoman]], usually, we are very cooperative. :) --[[User:Theodorico|Theodorico]] ([[User talk:Theodorico|talk]]) 09:13, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

: You removed a lot of project tags from Tactics. They're there for a reason, to get some work done on unfinished pages. And although some work has been done, not every article from Tactics is considered complete enough yet. Would have been better to have waited with it. But leave it as it is, I'm really not a fan of those tags, clutters the page. You and I will go through all these pages and then it will be complete enough. We should make some plan though. You upload character images and I'm about as far as you in the game and have the same images. We can split the missions. Do you have save games of the entire game? I don't, just finished Rock Falls. I suggest you start from the last mission working your way backwards and I start from Bunker Beta. Maybe you noticed I also uploaded quest images from the first three missions, perhaps you can do the same. And for characters, try to get them captured face 45% sideways (like recruits) or face front. And on No Mutants Allowed there is a [http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload.php?action=file&file_id=1241 high resolution screen patch]. Do you use that? Works like a charm. [[user:Jspoelstra|Jspoel]] [[file:Speech Jspoel.png|10px|link=User talk:Jspoelstra]] 15:32, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

:: Did you already download that screen res patch and can you get better resolution on those FOT character images? The one of Kaisa was only 8kb. I'm getting about double that size.
