Its description is: "After hours of study, you have managed to exploit the weaknesses of mirelurk and now have a damage bonus of 5 when you attack one."
Characteristics
Rebound appears as a metal hip flask filled with liquid jet and a pair of glass vials of pre-War adrenaline drugs taped to the side, which flow up through tubes into the mouth of the flask. A needle on the top administers the drug cocktail, causing a steady rush of energy rather than an instant energy rush.

  +
Effect
Rebound's effects are similar to jet, in that it boosts the player's AP level. However, unlike jet, rebound continuously resupplies the player with AP for a duration of time, effectively boosting their AP recovery rate. Combined with jet, this can be a very effective AP regeneration method, however, addiction is a risk.

The perk was intended to grant a bonus damage of 5 per hit against mirelurks, similar to the intended effect of Ghoul Ecology against ghouls.
Locations
* Can be bought at the Gomorrah

* Can be found first aid boxes around the Mojave as well as the Sierra Madre, Zion Canyon, Big MT and the Divide

Notes
* Rebound appears to be made out of a hip flask, one container of jet, one unknown compound, and an empty syringe, all tied into place with a length of duct tape.

* Rebound is likely a mixture of liquid Jet and an adrenaline.

* Rebound has its own addiction type in the game files yet the game uses Jet Addiction instead.

Mirelurk Ecology is a perk found in the data files of the Fallout 3 add-on Point Lookout. It doesn't appear in the game and can only be obtained with console commands.

Its description is: "After hours of study, you have managed to exploit the weaknesses of mirelurk and now have a damage bonus of 5 when you attack one."

Effect

The perk was intended to grant a bonus damage of 5 per hit against mirelurks, similar to the intended effect of Ghoul Ecology against ghouls.

Bugs

 • Due to a misplaced condition, the Mirelurk Ecology perk has no effect. The perk is intended to check whether or not the creature being damaged is a mirelurk, but instead runs that check on the owner of the perk, i.e. the player, who is obviously not a mirelurk. [platforms tag needed]

Behind the scenes

The Mirelurk Ecology perk was meant to be obtained after reading a book titled Marsh Hunting Tips Vol IV: Mirelurks. How the book was to be obtained is not indicated. The book still exists within the DLC's resources and, if somehow obtained, will grant the perk when used.

A similar book was created (and not used) for the Ghoul Ecology perk, titled "10 Indisputable Rules On Ghouls".
