Deathclaw image

I have removed your image. It was of very low quality and badly placed on the page. Only upload images of good or high quality (use the GECK). It has to be an improvement to the page. Jspoel 22:35, April 26, 2011 (UTC)

• 10k for an image is smalll. Other images on the same page are a few 100kb, so of much higher quality. When you add an image to a gallery just place it with its name there, without [[file:....]] on the page. So when you upload the file deathclaw.jpg put it there with that exact name, without file and brackets in a gallery. There are enough pages where you find examples, like Nipton

Nice behind the scenes in addition =). Yes, I'm almost one of the only major contributor of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, although Master Mold have created the majority of the places and characters pages in first. One of my project is to create the pages of the creatures, and I have some very rare renders in my computer, like one of Attis in full render that I put tomorrow (I do edit it with a transparent background before). Also for FOBOS page take a look, all redaction and creation of the weapons are made by me ;)! Well I go sleep, I work tommorow, good night and see you soon my friend, thanks again! Fallout 3

The setting is okay if you ignore the actual date, exploration is alright (before the Enclave appear), and the missed potential is always there. Though in my view these don't come close to outweighing other areas, simple additions like a non-linear story (e.g. Enclave route) and believable characters would have gone a long way, but this is just part of the problem. So essentially it's just bearable as long as you don't play the story and pretend it's some kind of post-apocalyptic backpacking game. It's hard for me to say anything on the subject without it sounding like I'm complaining all the time, don't get the wrong impression it just saddens me as to what could have been. -- 02:07, June 11, 2011 (UTC)

Scientology

I know most people take them as a cult because of what they do, but at some point almost every religion has someone in the higher ups that takes advantage of things. Mainly the point I was trying to drive home in my original comment was how groups like Anon hide behind this lame shield of "they do bad stuff". My point is that it is in the eye of the beholder. Basically Anon is just another group that, like PETA swings their judgmental hammer at whomever "they feel" is bad. It's really kind of sad. Expressing an opinion is one thing, destroying things for what you believe is another. Whether it is in the name of an organization with the belief you hold (PETA or whatnot) or a religion. I noticed your post to Nitty and Crazy Sam said he also talked about this with you, but I don't think your avatar is acceptable. Amicable? I felt that you were and it is one of the things that bugs me most is when one person says something like that because they have differing views. I created the page...

Simply to link it to my own. I stated it was fictional, didn't think it would be a huge problem considering I have seen people make CazaClaw pages and link them to their own profile. I wasn't going to link it to an actual game.

Current availability

I had noticed that many game and DLC pages have price information on them. This information is subject to change, and can easily be found on sites that actually sell the games. I asked about this on the wiki discussion forum and was told to delete away. While I didn't ask about current availability, it seems to me that this information is also better available from store sites and game review sites. Red Links.

Well it seems there is a bit of dispute about this at present. Personally, I can see how both interruptions of the source material have certain merits. I have suggested that User:Deus Gladiorum discusses it further with you (since they had the other view point) and see if a consensus can be reached between the two of you on the matter. 01:38, September 26, 2011 (UTC)

"GRA" weapons

Hey higgey, apparently we're having a disagreement about whether or not the new GRA weapons are actually titled "GRA" or not. Before anymore pages are deleted, can we please discuss this a little first? I think the new weapons actually are called GRA, I've been researching this all day and yesterday. For example, on the news blog here on the wiki, parts 1,2, and 3 about GRA have new weapons. Many of these new weapons are titled "GRA 12.7mm SMG, GRA Assault Carbine, GRA Laser Pistol, GRA Hunting Revolver" etc according to the beth blog, and according to Sawyer, all the new weapon mods are only for the weapons being introduced by GRA, no Vanilla weapons: http://www.formspring.me/JESawyer/q/232737121054490915 Hope we can come to an agreement or something, because I'm seeing tons of pages being murdered before my eyes :P lol --Deus Gladiorum 01:47, September 26, 2011 (UTC)

Deleting things from the Melee weapons pages (Fallout: New Vegas) is also 'unnecessary', like you did the other day after I had edited them.

Updating info box parameters

Could you be a bit more specific? I.e. are you talking about updating articles or updating the infobox templates themselves? -- Porter21 _(talk) 07:45, October 14, 2011 (UTC)

Well, you can't really update to the new infobox on a per-page basis (which is why your question is confusing me a bit) - you have to do it per infobox type. E.g. if you switch {{Infobox achievement}} to the new style, all pages which use that infobox are automatically updated (which has already happened in this case).

I'm currently updating all infobox templates anyway. Before long, all pages will use the new infobox :) -- Porter21 _(talk) 11:26, October 14, 2011 (UTC)

Unconditional Chat KIck

I feel like I was kicked from chat under unfair circumstances. I posted a link, and I believe somebody asked me for a re-post. So, I posted again and I was accused of spamming by Jasper, while the other user clearly stated that they did not see the link and wanted it re-posted. I gave (and stated that it was an example, and not meant to infuriate) an example of spamming, and was promptly banned.

GhostAvatar upload the the complete chat dialogue today of you and Emikowolf and I've read DB's screenshots. I'm annoyed I had to read through all that and also to see what kind of subjects you bring up/talk about. It's not the kind of talk I'd like to read and you should also wonder about the other users in chat who see this coming from a chatmoderator. If you keep pushing the subject expect to get burned at some point. Emiko can't be entirely blamed for that minor insult at the end. And what I found worse, was you calling him the same thing (worse) an hour later. For that insult a 3 day chat-ban and I'm going to revoke your chatmod rights for a week. Van Buren locations

Can we settle the witch-tense-to-choose issue? I think for a requirement past tense suits better. What is the requirement? You should have picked up a copy of Boxing Times after you chose the perk! Quests

In the case that the colon is followed by a sentence, I agree the following sentence would be lower case. However, the colon also has to follow an actual clause, and I don't think a quest name counts as such (it's more of an idea than a clause). On top of that, the characters on this wiki have had their involvement description start capitalized every since I can remember and no one has tried to change it; it's won over the test of time if you ask me. Editing discussion

Hey Liam! =) I wanted to talk to you about a few things...

• You are removing bullet points when they are not to be removed. I had to undo over a dozen of your edits to fix these. All subsections of "interactions with the player character" (except interactions overview obviously) require bullet points regardless of the list length because it is explicitly stated in the policies. I am surprised you didn't know this already.
• "Gatling laser" - the "Gatling" is always capitalised because it is named after Richard Gatling (inventor of the Gatling gun), just like "Gauss rifle" or "Tesla cannon".
• The colon matter is rather complicated and I don't support your changes. While I am aware you are correct that there is a grammatical rule stating that if there is only one sentence following a colon, the first word is to remain in lowercase, I don't believe that the context or usage of the colons is appropriate for this rule to be applicable. All of them state a quest name followed by a colon providing details for the quest. The quest names are not sentences, which colons may follow. On top of all that, it is aesthetically ugly. But you, Kas, and I will discuss this more.
• {{Platforms needed}} does not have a parameter for timestamp, so you adding in the timestamp as a parameter has no effect on the template function whatsoever.

Well, that's not the response I was hoping for. You're obviously not dense at all, I think we can all agree on that. It's just a few small things here and there really. Perhaps I left out the fact that I extremely appreciate your ardour in editing. You have clocked in more edits in a day than I have in awhile - that is something to be respected.
