Background[edit | edit source]

The following section is transcluded from 10mm pistol. To modify, please edit the source page.

The 10mm combat pistol[1] is a next-generation 10mm sidearm created before the Great War. While it is a different design from the N99,[2] it uses the same gas-operated action, allowing it to use 10mm ammunition with ease. Key differences include a slide stop, automatically locking the slide back when the weapon runs dry, a disassembly lever in the front section, safety in front of the trigger, rather than on the slide, and compatibility with a plethora of aftermarket modifications.[3]

Available to both government and civilian clients, the combat pistol could be fitted with an automatic receiver, turning it into a submachine gun, as well as a variety of optics (including the high-tech recon scopes), silencers, and other accessories to improve its performance. Of course, the flexibility came at a cost, as the combat pistol required more expensive machining and materials than the N99, consisting primarily of simple flat surfaces.[4]

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

The 10mm pistol is reasonably powerful sidearm for the beginning of the game, and it retains its usability with additional mods. An automatic receiver modification turns the weapon into a machine pistol, which is certainly a step up from an automatic pipe pistol. A silencer can also be attached, making it an effective weapon for stealthy operations. A 10mm pistol that has been completely modified from its base platform can potentially be a powerhouse on its own, given that ammunition is plentiful and there is not a legitimate threat of running out.

Crafting[edit | edit source]

With the Contraptions Workshop add-on, 10mm pistols can be manufactured using a weapon forge.
