4.7mm caseless is a type of caseless ammunition in Fallout 2.

Background

The 4.7mm caseless is an interesting round developed by the German company Heckler & Koch. H&K's proprietary design features a round buried within a square block of propellant, minimizing space requirements and allowing for truly tremendous magazine capacities. Though round cook-offs remained a problem, the Germans eventually managed to get around the problem, thereby creating a futuristic round.

Characteristics

One of the rarest ammo types, 4.7mm can only be bought in bulk from two stores. However, its excellent ballistics make it the round of choice for spray and pray, particularly for Sulik with the G11 or Marcus with the Vindicator (the latter being a sort of masochistic choice for players who like to scrape companions and innocents off the walls).
