Albino mirelurk hunter is a creature in Fallout 4.

Background

Main article: Mirelurk

The lobster mirelurk is an unique mutation found in New England environs, called mirelurk hunter by its denizens. The most characteristic elements of this kind of mirelurk are the oversized claws and its head, housing the eyes and antennae, its primary sensor organs.[1] Although they lack the protection of their crab cousins, lobster mirelurks make up for it with their more powerful melee strikes and the ability to spit corrosive acid at targets.[2] Its prey is usually consumed whole and digested in the stomach, using acids and teeth embedded in the lining.[3]

Characteristics

Mirelurks typically form casts of three to four individuals, but these numbers can be in the dozens in particular locales, especially if there is a queen nearby. They are ferocious apex predators and will pursue their prey incessantly. Hunters lack the armored shell of their crab brethren, but make up for it with sheer ferocity and aggression, as well as increased damage. They are also capable of attacking at range, by lobbing corrosive acid spit at their enemies. It's best to keep them at a distance and strafe, to avoid being covered in mirelurk spit.

They drop Mirelurk meat on death.

The albino mirelurk is distinguished by blue discolorations on its carapace and only slightly more resilient than the base mirelurk. However, it is stronger than it by nearly a half.

Locations

  • The albino is a regular leveled spawn and appears wherever mirelurks appear.
