Amy Kerry was a Vault-Tec University graduate, who collaborated with the Responders from January 2096 onwards on a research project that analyzed the Appalachian environment for effects of scorched infestation. Her proprietary program gathered sensor data for soil, air, and water, and then computed them in order to create a climate model that could verify the presence of scorched contamination. Her boyfriend, Jeff Nakamura, was a big influence on her and help put her in touch with the people who could aid her in making that program a reality.[1]

Kerry was not much of a joiner and despite repeated overtures by both the Responders and Jeff, she refused to join the organization. She maintained that she's not interested for nearly a month, until a molerat nearly chewed through her leg on a chance encounter in the woods, while placing a soil sensor. By late February, the wound became infected and she was bedridden, and would have died if it wasn't for Jeff's visit. It was then that a general sympathy for him blossomed into a genuine emotion, and she fell in love with the Responders' quartermaster.[2]

Troubles started when the Appalachian Brotherhood of Steel learned of her project and demanded that the Responders reveal the information to them. Unaware of the bitter war fought on the other side of the mountains, she resented their constant demands for supplies and information. However, the threat that they could come and pick her up was real, so in April, she packed up her belongings, automated the whole monitoring systems, and left the monitoring site near Tygart , hooking it up so that she'd be able to work remotely, off-site.[3]

Amy Kerry appears only in Fallout 76.
