The defender's AC is directly subtracted from the attacker's chance to hit.
Initial level: Starting armor class is equal to your Agility. Average characters will have an armor class of 5.
- The Kamikaze trait has the negative side effect of setting the initial level to 0, instead of your agility.
- The Dodger perk increases AC by 5.
- Though not exactly affecting AC, the Stonewall perk supplements AC by making you less likely to be knocked down when hit.
- At the end of each turn, your AC is increased by an amount equal to your remaining Action Point total. HtH Evade increases this to 2 AC per AP, plus one-twelth of your Unarmed skill so long as you are using an unarmed Weapon. Additional AP boosting perks can indirectly improve this.
