The Raider BB rifle is a weapon in Fallout: New Vegas.

Background[edit | edit source]

The following section is transcluded from BB gun. To modify, please edit the source page.

The Raider brand BB gun is a small lever-action air rifle. The only thing this toy is practical for is killing radroaches.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

BB gun expanded

As it is an airgun designed for children, the BB gun sports the lowest damage of any firearm in the game. This also makes it not very durable and vulnerable to breaking very quickly. However, it has the notable quality of being silent. A fully repaired BB gun can fire about 245 BBs, or about 2.5 magazines, breaking.

Locations[edit | edit source]

  • Blue Paradise Vacation Rentals - found in the middle sunken beach house, behind the dresser laying on the bunkbed.
  • Brewer's beer bootlegging - in the basement under the table with the BBs.
  • Bradley's shack on the table in the back of the shack.
  • Coyote Mines - one can be found in the shack at the top of the mine.
  • Fisherman's Pride Shack - on a metal shelf to the right when you enter the shack.
  • Goodsprings - there are two in Goodsprings, one is propped up against the west wall of north-east most house, the other is in the south-east most house lying on a table.
  • Mick & Ralph's, Freeside - one can be found in the toy box left of the door upon entering.
  • Nellis Air Force Base - located inside the children's barracks, hidden between a bookcase and a wall.
  • Nipton - one of the homes hanging on the wall with ammunition in the box below.
  • Nipton Road Reststop - behind some sacks of yeast near the back wall.
  • Vault 19 - when you enter the living quarters, there's a room on you're left in front of you. In the room is a big pile. If you walk over the pile you see a footlocker containing a BB gun with ammunition.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • The BB gun may be considered a nearly useless weapon, because very few enemies are weak enough to be killed by a BB gun, aside from powder gangers and bloatflies.
