Template:Image Bed (Fallout 3) is a type of furniture. Beds have two parts: (a.) a fabric mattress for sleeping on, and (b.)the frame for supporting the mattress above the ground. In some cases, the mattress is not supported by a frame. People used beds for sleeping.
History of Bedding
Prior to the Great War of 2077, people used sheets, blankets, and pillows when sleeping. In the years following the war, the sleeping habits of people changed. They grew accustomed to sleeping on bare mattresses with no pillows. Though some settlements, such as Vault 101, continued the practice of covering the mattresses, even they don't use pillows.
Vault-Tec Standard Issue Bedding
These beds are used in the Vault-Tec Vaults.
Adult Bed
The adult bed is a foam mattress lying within a metal frame. The mattress is covered by a white bottom sheet and a gray top sheet.

Infant Bed
The infant bed is a bare gray mattress in a crib. The crib has three sides and a dropside. A mobile is attached to the crib's frame. This mobile is decorated with three red-and-white rockets.
