Corporal Ben Schilling was a corporal in the United States Armed Forces before the Great War and one of the early members of the Brotherhood of Steel.

Before the Great War, Ben Schilling was a corporal in the United States Army. Stationed with Roger Maxson at Mariposa Military Base, he was among the group of soldiers who would eventually form the Brotherhood of Steel after the events of 2077.

Schilling was the only member of Senator Peterson's family who remembered the location of Peterson's bunker. After directing the Brotherhood to the bunker's location, he took it upon himself to rename the bunker in the name of Maxson.

Ben Schilling was due to be mentioned in Van Buren, the canceled Fallout 3 by Black Isle Studios. As such, he is mentioned in the Maxson Bunker design document.
