The bleed out syringe is a type of ammunition in Fallout 4.
Characteristics
The bleed out syringe is a small dart used only in the syringer, fired via compressed air to deliver powerful poisons into enemy targets. Unlike most ammunition in the game, it is located under the "AID" section of the Pip-Boy menu, as a consumable, and has a small amount of weight.

Effects
The bleed out syringe has a chance to cause targets to "bleed out," causing 30 points of damage over 10 seconds (3 DPS). This damage is easily dwarfed by conventional sources since it is not affected by perks, effects, or upgradeable with mods. However, it does ignore all resistances, so it can still be useful against enemies in power armor (who tend to have low health despite their huge resistances). Moreover, the components used to make this are fairly common.
