Your training in firearms and other ranged weapons has made you more deadly in ranged combat. For each level of this Perk, you do +2 points of damage with ranged weapons.

Bonus Ranged Damage is a perk in Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics, Van Buren, J.E. Sawyer's Fallout Role-Playing Game and Lionheart.

Fallout, Fallout 2 and Van Buren[edit | edit source]

+2 damage with ranged weapons per level, for +4 damage total.

The perk is useless. The increase in damage is negligible, unless the player uses burst weapons like the minigun or Bozar.

Fallout Tactics[edit | edit source]

+15% damage with ranged weapons, for a total of 30% with both ranks. Slightly more useful due to the combat-focused nature of the game and availability of high damage weapons in the end game.

J.E. Sawyer's Fallout Role-Playing Game[edit | edit source]

+2 damage with thrown melee weapons and firearms with each level of this perk. With both ranks, ranged weapons deal an additional 4 damage.

Lionheart[edit | edit source]

+3 points of damage with ranged weapons. With both ranks, ranged weapons deal an additional 6 damage.
