Confirm

Can anyone confirm this? I was just in La Maison Beauregard and saw nothing except the Super Mutants and items that have always been there. --Black Talon 11:33, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Yes, the armor exists. It seems to be part of an unmarked quest so you'll likely have to find the holodisk that starts it first. Should be in the Presidential Metro if I'm not mistaken. -- Porter21 (talk) 12:22, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Can you find him BEFORE you start the Broken Steel missions? -- T-51b Power Armor, 7 May 2009

  • No, Lag-Bolt will only appear after you have picked up the holotape Sorry, My Darling in the Presidential Metro. I'm not sure if it's necessary to listen to it. As most scripted quests don't actually require to activate notes in your Pip-Boy, I'd say no. After you have picked up this holotape, Lag-Bolt will appear. Unlike Lug-Nut, he starts out as hostile toward the player. I have not completed with the Super Mutants still alive so I don't know if he is hostile to them too.

Yes, you have to listen to it.--74.215.62.191 08:52, August 21, 2012 (UTC)

The MPLX Novasurge and Lag Bolt's Combat Armor

Even though the article says that Lag Bolt's Armor is superior to the Tribal Power Armor, a player using the MPLX Novasurge might actually prefer the latter armor as it will allow him or her to take one extra shot in VATS if he has agility maxed, the Action Boy/Girl perk and is wearing Ledoux's Hockey Mask. (The MPLX takes 21 AP per shot -> 145/21=6.x; 148/21=7.x)
