The Bradberton overpass is a location in the exterior of Nuka-World in 2287.

Background[]

This overpass south of Bradberton was part of a pre-War highway with access to Nuka-World. As of 2287, the overpass serves as the base of operations for a Gunners scouting team sent to explore the western Commonwealth.[1]

Stumbling upon the Nuka-World transit center, the Gunners chose to hike through the mountains instead of taking the Nuka-Express, which they assumed was a trap.[1] The hike was more difficult than anticipated, and the situation worsened when the scouts lost communications with their headquarters. The team set up a base on the ruins of the overpass, and are now waiting for reinforcements.

Layout[]

The overpass has fallen in several places, but the two remaining intact sections have been commandeered by the Gunners. A lift ascends from the ground to the northern section of the overpass, and a second lift connects the two overpass sections. The elevated sections overlook Nuka-World from the northeast.

The ground level features a shack with the lift and a small lookout post farther to the north, each occupied by a Gunner. The northern section of the overpass has another Gunner, an assaultron, and a small shack with a mattress.

The southern section of the overpass hosts two Gunners (including the leader), another assaultron, a cooking station, and a power armor frame in a trailer. The leader is wearing a suit of power armor. Near the southern end of the section is a shack with a terminal, a trunk, a mattress, and a sleeping bag.

Notable loot[]

  • Power armor suit without the helmet - Worn by the Gunner leader on the southern section of the overpass.
  • Nuka-Cherry - In the shack on the southern section of the overpass, on the cabinet next to the trunk.

Notes[]

  • Fast traveling to this location will instantly alert every Gunner to the Sole Survivor's presence, with the exception of the leader.
  • The Gunners and assaultrons on the overpass may occasionally walk off the edge and plunge to their deaths.
  • Northeast of the overpass beyond some construction equipment and large crates is a deathclaw guarding a steamer trunk in a ravine. Farther north is the distiller shack.

Appearances[]

The Bradberton overpass appears only in the Fallout 4 add-on Nuka-World.

Bugs[]

PCPC The power armor frame and random leveled parts on the southern section of the overpass may respawn upon subsequent visits if the frame was previously used by a Gunner. [verified]
