Brahmin meat is a consumable item that can be obtained and ingested in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Unlike in Fallout 3, meat dropped by brahmin is no longer fully cooked. These steaks act as a decent health item in the low levels, replenishing 15 HP per steak. In Hardcore Mode, however, the steaks carry a -1 Strength debuff, along with reducing Starvation. Brahmin meat is a fairly universal meat, being used in the recipes for brahmin steak, Cook-Cook's Fiend stew, and brahmin Wellington.
