Open-ended RPGs tend to be the most buggy. Their large scope, combined with the fact that many quests tie into each other, can usually cause a pretty big headache for QA. Add to the mix that each character can usually be customized—as far as stats, skills and abilities—and there can be some pretty insidious bugs hidden throughout the game.

Brandon Adler is a developer who works at Obsidian Entertainment on Fallout: New Vegas, responsible for additional production.

Life and career[edit | edit source]

Born and raised in Victorville, California, Brandon attended Cal Poly Pomona’s Computer Science program before entering the military in early 2001. After spending four years in the U.S. Air Force, he decided to pursue his true passion—video games.[2]
