Traveling with ED-E has given you a chance to bond with him, unlocking five ranks of potential bonuses.— In-game description

Camarader-E is a companion perk in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Lonesome Road.

Requirements[]

Gaining ranks of this perk requires finding each one of a total of 5 destroyed eyebots across the Divide and looting the eyebot upgrade circuit boards from them:

Effects[]

Each rank grants a different effect when ED-E is an active companion:

  1. Weapon Repair - Every 24 hours, ED-E can be asked via a dialogue option to repair 25% of a weapon's total condition
  2. Energy Ammo Production - Every 24 hours, ED-E can be asked to create 20-unit batches of either SECs or MFCs
  3. Increased DT - +2 DT for PC and ED-E
  4. Laser Damage Bonus - +5 beam weapon damage for PC and ED-E
  5. Accuracy Bonus - +5% V.A.T.S accuracy for PC and weapon accuracy for ED-E

Achieving ranks 1 and 2 also unlocks additional Repair and Explosives skill checks with ED-E:

  • Rank 1, 35 Repair - Improves ED-E's weapon repair option, allowing it to restore 35% of a weapon's total condition
  • Rank 1, 65 Repair - Improves ED-E's energy ammo production to produce 35-unit batches
  • Rank 2, 35 Explosives - Allows ED-E to manufacture 35 flamer fuel instead of energy ammo every 24 hours
  • Rank 2, 65 Explosives - Allows ED-E to manufacture 3 satchel charges instead of energy ammo every 24 hours

Notes[]

The perk effects apply to both the ED-E encountered in the Divide and the one in the Mojave Wasteland.

Behind the scenes[]

The perk name is a play on the word "camaraderie", defined as the close relationship in a group of friends or teammates.
