Weapons tend to distance us from battle and desensitize the effects of our actions against others. When you strike another human being with your bare fist, you both see and feel the pain you cause. Battle becomes very personal and all too real then.

Cameron is an Arroyo warrior in Fallout 2.

Background[edit | edit source]

A young man with bulging muscles and a very confident air about him, Cameron is one of the martial experts of the village. He has been chosen as the final trial the Chosen One has to face, to learn that one must sometimes use violence and combat, when all of the other options are exhausted.

Bonuses[edit | edit source]

  • The player can receive a 10% bonus to Melee Weapons and Unarmed, but only if the player character has 6 Agility or less and has tagged none of the six combat skills.

Quests[edit | edit source]

  • Finish Temple of Trials: Cameron states that the player has to defeat him to complete the Temple. The player can fight him, convince him to stand down (to avoid accidentally killing each other), or simply steal his key and open the door behind him.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

  • Cameron was originally named Dumar, but a later patch corrected it, naming him after Cameron Rapmund, the Australian winner of the Fallout trivia contest.
