Candace was a harborwoman, the aunt of Peggy and her husband Mark and a relative of Small Bertha and Tony. She left the Island for the mainland recently after her home was engulfed by the Fog. Her family only discovered this when they had to flee to Far Harbor for safety following their same plight.[1]
