The Charles River Lock and Dam is a location in Fallout 4.

The primary lock on the Charles River, responsible in pre-War times for transporting vessels between different levels of the river, the dam's concrete structures weathered the centuries well. Its mechanical components fared more poorly and by 2287 it's little more than a heap of scrap, its massive gateways the only thing holding back a flood. The derelict reactor in sublevel D, which malfunctioned shortly before the Great War, certainly didn't do it any favors.[1]

Operations is a small room that used to house the control systems for the lock. Now it's a ruin, with a hatch in the back leading down to the reactor level.

Reactor Level

A fraction of the facility remains accessible. The ladder exits into a corridor connecting a small workroom and the leaking reactor. The worker and his dog certainly made the wise decision to leave.

Charles River Lock and Dam appears only in Fallout 4.
