The Cleansing Flame is a unique weapon added with the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Gun Runners' Arsenal.

This flamer comes equipped with a backpack to store the flamer fuel. Unlike other flamethrowers that have an ever burning pilot light, this flamer has a white-hot wire protrusion that ignites expelled gas.

Gameplay attributes[edit | edit source]

The Cleansing Flame is a modified, high-capacity flamer. Unlike the standard variant it has three jet nozzles, three large fuel tanks, and orange cables. Possibly due to more efficient fuel combustion, the flame ejects a hotter blue flame rather than the usual red/orange.

Compared to the standard flamer, the Cleansing Flame has a superior base damage, longer range, and a burn effect that steadily improves based on the user’s Energy Weapons skill.

  • This weapon is the only weapon that has an effect that scales to the players skill level.

Bugs[edit | edit source]
