The 9 iron is a Melee skill weapon in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
This old 9 iron is bent and battered after 200 odd years of exposure to the elements. The 9 iron has a special V.A.T.S. attack called "Fore!", that delivers a swing straight into the target's head at the cost of 35 action points (requires a Melee skill of 50).
This item, or the unique variant Nephi's golf driver, are used for the Gun Runners' Arsenal challenge A Slave Obeys.
Durability
The 9 iron can successfully strike about 295 times from full condition before breaking.

- Nephi's golf driver - A stronger variant, used by Driver Nephi, that delivers more critical damage, but with slightly less item health.

Locations
- Broc Flower Cave - a wandering prospector will occasionally have it in their inventory.
- Devil's Throat, in the same trailer with the CZ57 Avenger, a unique minigun (found on a dead prospector).
- Freeside - in the The King's School of Impersonation building, on the 2nd floor in one of the rooms in the center, laying on the carpet.
- Mojave Outpost Barracks - sometimes sold by Lacey.
- Nipton - in the bathroom of the Nipton house with a Mister Gutsy robot.
- Nipton - on a dead prospector in the Town Hall (Southwest corner of the large room on the assembly floor).
- Searchlight North Gold Mine - on the dead prospector in the Northeast part of the mine, the same one that has the Searchlight North Mine Key.
- Yangtze Memorial - the abandoned shack, just northwest of the memorial. It is just inside the door.
- Sometimes Fiends may carry them.
