[Tell me about North Vegas.] We've been here for a few years, just looking for a place we can call our own. Life's harsh, but still, it beats the hell out of the desert. We've got numbers, we've got food, and we've got trade. That's progress, stranger.

Crandon is the leader of the North Vegas square in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background
The informal leaders of wastelanders making a living in the North Vegas square, Crandon has lived there for a couple of years now. Together with Jules and a few other hardy folk, they make sure that everything runs smoothly. While life is harsh on the outskirts of Vegas, the small settlement has the people, food, and trade to keep them going. He has a strong independent streak and takes good care of the people under his wings. He is skeptical of NCR's promise of wealth and equality for everyone, especially in the light of its failure to protect outer Vegas.
