Crucified trooper is a living, crucified NCR trooper that can be seen at The Fort.

Background[edit | edit source]

This trooper got caught and crucified by Caesar's Legion. Subject to great suffering, the trooper will plead with any passerby for release or death.

  • If interacted with, he will say "Mercy...". However, killing him will gain the player no karma.

Crucified troopers appear only in Fallout: New Vegas.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

  • If trying to talk to him, the screen will sometimes zoom on him and then back out. No fixes discovered.
  • Using the Ranger Takedown on him may remove him from the cross without killing him, provided your Unarmed skill isn't too high. Regardless, he will just stand in front of the cross repeating "Mercy" as if he were still crucified.
  • Xbox 360Icon xbox360.png Some players when clicking on the trooper will be sent back to Cottonwood Cove.
