The Dead Horse stalker armor is a piece of armor in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Dead Horses stalker armor is comprised of a loincloth, a bandoleer, a hollowed out shell for a pauldron, and necklace decorated with tufts of animal hair.

It provides a damage threshold of +5, and a bonus of +5 to Sneak.

Locations[edit | edit source]

  • It is worn by members of the Dead Horses tribe. Openly killing a Dead Horses tribal to acquire the armor will immediately fail all associated quests in Zion and initiate Chaos in Zion. An undetected sneak attack will not affect any quests.
  • In Three Marys, this armor, along with either a Sorrows adorned outfit or Sorrows outfit, can be found at the White Legs camp. Directly under the map marker the river flows around a small island, on which two slain tribals are lying - a Dead Horse and a Sorrow. Their armor can be taken without penalty or risk of failing any quests.
    • Their appearance is triggered by your first meeting with Joshua Graham in the Angel Cave. Traveling to Three Marys after this should cause the bodies to spawn.
