The Desert Eagle is a small gun in Fallout.

Background

The following section is transcluded from Desert Eagle .44. To modify, please edit the source page.

A large-framed, gas-operated pistol chambered in .44 Magnum. Popularized by late 20th century action movies, this respectable weapon has earned a reputation for firepower and an enduring popularity.[1] The fact that it can load high powered cartridges due to it being gas operated certainly helped.

Characteristics

The following section is transcluded from Desert Eagle .44. To modify, please edit the source page.

A veritable relic, the Desert Eagle in .44 still features its original nickel finish. It's one of the earlier models, easily distinguished by its distinctive teardrop shape.

Gameplay attributes

Excellent pistol that's only outclassed by the 14mm pistol and even then, only because of the bugged ammunition modifiers. The fact that it holds a few more bullets gives it just enough edge to make it competitive. For a pistol-based gunman, it will likely last until the .223 pistol.
