In 2051, the United States Armed Forces invaded Mexico.

Prelude
As Mexico had severe pressure from the US, political troubles, pollution spreading like wildfire and drifting to the US, and many economic groups destabilizing Mexico, the US saw this a threat to them and mildly to the world, so they invaded Mexico to make sure the oil refineries kept running, and to ensure that oil, fuel, and supplies made it across the US-Mexican border. The United States tried to launch an occupation/annexation operation, but the final decision of this is unknown, along with the outcome of the invasion.
