The Dino Dee-lite Motel is the centerpiece of Novac in Fallout: New Vegas.

Background

Main article: Novac

Erected at a highway interchange just by Highway 95, Dino Dee-Lite served tourists and other travelers heading up the highway to Las Vegas, with its Dinky the T-Rex roadside attraction helping visitors find the place while barreling down the road. After the Great War, the motel sat vacant for decades, if not centuries, until Novac was founded, taking its name from the broken motel sign by the entrance.

Layout

The motel overlooks the highway interchange, with the Dinky statue being its most prominent landmark. The statue contains the Dino Bite Gift Shop, Novac's trade post, and a watchtower set up in the mouth of the dinosaur, giving snipers an excellent view of the surrounding area.

The motel itself, accessible through a gate, contains the front desk just by the overhang and features seven accessible motel rooms and two intact bungalows belonging to Cliff Briscoe and Ranger Andy, the local law man. The player can rent a motel room for 100 caps from Jeannie May Crawford at the front desk to gain a permanent home. The room is also granted for free after becoming Accepted by the town.
