Dirty water is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics[]

Dirty water is the most common water in the game and is drawn from the tainted lakes and rivers of the Mojave Wasteland. Unlike purified water, drinking dirty water will induce moderate radiation, which can be cured for a fee by a doctor, or by using RadAway.

Notes[]

  • Dirty water differs in appearance from purified water. Dirty water is labeled WATER while purified water is labeled H²O. The bottle is also grimier. The Pip-Boy 3000 icon for both is the same.
  • Dirty water can be purified in bulk at a campfire.
