The duffle bag is a container in Fallout: New Vegas.

Characteristics[]

Duffle bags can be found around the Mojave Wasteland, and usually contain various types of ammunition, weapons, and miscellaneous items. Some duffle bags also have "NCR" stitched onto the bags, meaning the bags may belong to the NCR.

Variants[]

  • Boulder City - At the north side, on top of the stairs at the mining building.
  • Broc flower cave - Under the bunk bed in the room where you can find the Ratslayer.

  • Cottonwood Cove - Inside the Cottonwood Cove storage building.
  • Dead Wind Cavern - Found against rows of stalagmites near the end of the cave.
  • Gun Runners - If you enter the gun runner factory, there will be two duffle bags were the bunk beds are. In the room to the right, there will be a duffle bag laying on the bathroom floor.
  • El Rey Motel - In the farthest right bottom hotel room. There will be a duffle bag on the floor, with four bark scorpions surrounding it.
  • Goodsprings - Inside Goodsprings gas station, behind the counter, in the corner.

  • Lakelurk cove - Two can be found in a small cave in the back of the cove.
  • Matthews Animal Husbandry Farm - In the right barn, at the top of the stairs, next to some boxes.
  • Morning Star cavern - Inside the cavern next to a dead mercenary, in the last cavern room.
  • Nipton Road Pit Stop - In corner of the destroyed house hidden by a bush near a blue car.
  • Raided farmstead - Inside of the trailer, in the back next to the oven.
  • Vault 22 - At the entrance; turn right. It will be on a table.
  • Walking Box cavern - Two can be found in the cave.
  • Yangtze Memorial - Behind the sign at the edge of the cliff near the memorial.
  • Dead Money On the roof of the structure inside the second large open room that is encountered, can be accessed by going up the stairs and following the metal catwalk that loops around to bring you back above the duffle bag and then simply disabling the alarms to make it safe and easy to drop down to get the duffle bag without the need to be in a rush. It's also possible to access it by turning around after climbing the very first flight of stairs and quickly jumping on the railing and then onto the roof of the structure, but this will have to be done very quickly and will most likely require a short stop in the corner opposite of the duffle bag to reach the only very tiny safe spot on the roof where the beeping can be reset to avoid blowing up.
  • Honest Hearts On a ledge off the cliff southwest of the Crashed scout bus.
  • Honest Hearts Near the skeletal remains right next to a big rock at Dagger's Point.
  • Honest Hearts On the upper platform with the two giant spore plants and the makeshift wooden table with the ammunition box and explosives crate inside the Morning Glory cave.
  • Honest Hearts Near a mattress on a ledge on the side of the cliff alongside the river northeast of the North Fork Bridge.
  • Honest Hearts Inside the lookout tower that makes up Ranger Substation Osprey.
  • Honest Hearts Three duffle bags propped up next to a cliff at the location of the ambush site right after entering Zion Canyon near the southern passage.
  • Honest Hearts Near an explosives crate and an ammunition box in the White Legs camp located on the highest ledge of the northwestern section of the Three Marys canyon.
  • Honest Hearts Two duffle bags below some of the makeshift benches at the Vault 22 dwellers' guard camp.
  • Honest Hearts In the room in the back of the Zion Ranger station building.
  • Old World Blues (add-on) Many duffle bags can be found scattered around Big MT, usually hidden or tucked away in corners. As with most duffle bags, they tend to contain useful survival supplies.
  • Lonesome Road (add-on) Multiple duffle bags within the Divide contain notes which can be helpful in completing the Nostalgia challenge.
